Voting 101

Ready to make your voice heard? This introductory program will walk participants through the voting process—from registration to casting a ballot—with clear, nonpartisan information designed to build confidence at the polls. Learn about voter rights, important election deadlines, and how to find accurate election information in Missouri and Kansas. Presented in partnership with the League of Women Voters and the Library’s Civic Engagement Specialist, Sharon Sanders Brooks, this session will help you feel fully prepared to participate in the upcoming midterm election.

The 101 Series of programming is designed to encourage lifelong learning by connecting patrons to new practical skills, interests, or hobbies and organizations that can provide additional free educational opportunities in our community.
