Library Giving Day was April 1! Your support ensures that all Kansas Citians have access to books, eBooks, audiobooks, and library services.
This class explores the medicinal properties of common weeds found in the Kansas City area. Participants will learn to identify, harvest, and prepare local plants for herbal remedies, covering traditional uses, safety considerations, and sustainable foraging practices. Perfect for herbal enthusiasts, gardeners, and nature lovers!
Each participant will receive a booklet with information about the plants covered in class plus recipes for working with the plants.
Space is limited, participants must RSVP.
