Journaling Journey

From ancient times until now, journals have created clarity for their users, helped them find margin and meaning in their busy lives, and provided a place to process their most important thoughts. Is it possible to improve your life by writing just 5-10 minutes per day?

This course will teach you to use one of your most important secret weapons for productivity and happiness: a journal. We’ll cover all aspects: journaling for fun, reflection, and personal development, and how to journal for organization and time management. We’ll learn:

  • Why journaling matters.
  • The science of writing it down.
  • How to start and maintain a daily habit.
  • The benefits of journaling.

This class is taught by a graduate student in the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s MFA Program in Creative Writing.
