Family Series

Presented by KU Alzheimer's Disease Research Center

The Family Series features four sessions on guidance and support for families caring for a loved one experiencing cognitive change. Participants will receive education and resources about dementia diagnoses, managing communication and behavior challenges, creating engaging activities and handling feelings like guilt, grief and relief.

Participants may attend any or all of the sessions; there is no cost to participate. For the best experience, we strongly encourage in-person attendance at the Family Series. You'll be able to interact with presenter Kelly G. Loeb, MSW and other participants and receive take-home materials.

If you are unable to attend in person, you can watch the Family Series on Zoom and use the chat feature for questions and comments. Due to the hybrid nature of the event, the presenter may need to answer thoughts in the chat after the end of each session.
