Evening Serenade: The Kansas City Symphony
The Kansas City Symphony brings its series of free outdoor chamber concerts to the Library.
Various ensembles perform for 45 minutes to an hour every other Tuesday evening in September and October, beginning with a string trio – two violins and cello – on the rooftop of the Central Library’s landmark parking garage. Subsequent performances are staged in the parking areas outside three other Library locations.
To protect attendees, Library staff, and the musicians, all are asked to maintain social distancing and wear masks. Those wishing to sit should bring their own chairs.
