Central Library has a new parking validation process.
Starting on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, public computers at all Library locations will be under maintenance from 4 p.m. until closing each day until further notice.
After 4 p.m., most patrons will still be able to use computers as usual. However, some visitors will be unable to log in or use public computers at all.
Affected patrons include:
- Anyone who has never logged in to a public computer at the Library
Note: If you are a first-time Library computer user, log in before 4 p.m. to establish a usage history. After that, you will be able to use the computers during the maintenance period.
- Those who have changed their PIN after 4 p.m. on the day they wish to use the computer
Please note that the public computer service will be available to everyone between opening time and 4 p.m. These restrictions only apply during the maintenance window from 4 p.m. to close each day. Wireless internet access will remain available during open hours.
This work is necessary because our internet service provider has had issues, resulting in downtime and slow performance on public computers in recent days. Maintenance will continue daily until further notice.
