Erwin Rommel

Mark Hull of the Military History Department at the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth discusses the military career of German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel.

Hull discusses Rommel’s roles in both world wars, with a special emphasis on his command of the Afrikakorps, the German expeditionary force in Libya and Tunisia from 1941-43.

This is the seventh and concluding event in this year’s Great Commanders series.
