Presented By
Deborah Shouse, Ron Zoglin, Rod Fleeman, Cynthia Schroer, Michelle Niedens

On the journey through dementia, moments of connection are priceless. In a discussion of her new book Connecting in the Land of Dementia: Creative Activities to Explore Together, author Deborah Shouse shares a variety of simple, imaginative, and meaningful activities gleaned from interviews with dozens of innovators. From music, art, and movies to cooking, gardening, and storytelling, these undertakings can deepen relationships, renew hope, and ignite a sense of purpose in people living with dementia and their care partners.

Shouse is joined here by partner Ron Zoglin, a professional storyteller; musical guests Rod Fleeman and Cynthia Schroer; and Michelle Niedens of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Heart of America chapter.
