Pride at the Library

Nine queer artists and organizations come together for an uplifting afternoon of community building and celebration of queer identity. This event is part of the Library’s health and well-being programming and aims to strengthen community connections, reduce feelings of isolation, and heighten feelings of self-empowerment.

Participating artists showcase their work and offer free stickers and prints, and organizations provide information, resources, and ways to get involved.

Interact with artist Katie Carillo, BlaqOut, the Kansas City Center for Inclusion/Our Spot, Stray Cat Film Center, No Divide KC, and the curator of {B/qKC}, Nasir Anthony Montalvo

Enjoy complimentary refreshments, including gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. All ages and orientations are welcome.
