Postponed: Energy Efficiency Listening Session

The Library has teamed up with the Metropolitan Energy Center (MEC), a Kansas City-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting energy efficiency and economic development, to discover both the community’s interest in making their homes more energy efficient and what resources they might need to achieve their personal goals.

The Library and MEC aim to deliver valuable resources, training, and awareness about energy efficiency technologies through the listening session and in two other ways:

  • A survey went to Trails West Branch and Irene H. Ruiz Branch patrons to gauge their interest in and existing knowledge about energy efficiency.

If you need ADA accommodation to use Library services or attend Library events and programs, please notify us at least 3 business days in advance at 816.701.3409 or ADA@kclibrary.org. (TTY access available via 711 or 866.520.7309 for Spanish.)

The Kansas City Public Library could be videotaping and taking photos for possible inclusion in marketing and promotional communications.
