Mindfulness of Seeing

When we are mindful of them, our senses can help us feel more grounded and centered by bringing us into the present moment. They can provide us with information about ourselves and our environment that we can use to relate more skillfully with the world around us. Each meeting will include a brief intro to mindfulness and guided practices designed to help us explore how mindfulness of the senses can reduce stress, teach us about ourselves, and help us respond wisely to the joys and challenges of living.

Mindfulness of Seeing focuses our minds on what we see around us. We will apply mindfulness techniques to photography and with other visual prompts.
