Our Mission
The Kansas City Public Library's Tech Access division is dedicated to supporting our community in learning and applying digital literacy skills and promoting equitable access to technology.
Why is this work important?
As our world becomes increasingly digital, many individuals and communities do not have affordable access, skills, and support to participate in cultural and civic discussions, find employment, and access essential services. This disproportionately effects disadvantaged peoples in our community.
Your Impact
By sharing your digital skills to our community members, you are making an immediate impact on their lives. Your service will enable someone to connect to an entire community, to apply for a job or assistance, and to access online education.
