Tina Packer knows a thing or two – or 25 – about Shakespeare.
Founder of one of the largest Shakespeare festivals in the country, Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts, Packer has directed all the Bard’s plays, acted in several of them, and taught the entire Shakespeare canon in one fashion or another at more than 30 colleges in the U.S. Returning to Kansas City on the heels of the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival’s 25th anniversary season, she lends her unique perspective and insight into the great playwright’s works to an examination of “25 sensual pleasures in 25 Shakespeare plays, celebrating 25 seasons of HASF.”
The presentation is part of the McMeel Family Shakespeare Series in collaboration with the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival.
