2013: Hometown Hero
Paul Rudd first found acting success performing serious stuff like Shakespeare on the Broadway stage. But in recent years the Kansas City native has become a comedy icon, thanks to his regular gig on TV’s Friends and high-profile roles in big-screen hits from the likes of Judd Apatow.
Rudd has gone from stealing scenes as a supporting player to being the name above the title, and in 2013 the Library celebrated his career with Paul Rudd: Hometown Hero, in our summer Off-the-Wall Film Series.
