Notice to all eBook and audiobook fans: On May 1, 2023, the original OverDrive mobile app will no longer work – it’s being discontinued in favor of Libby, a sleeker and more modern experience originally launched in 2017. Once you download and log into Libby, you’ll find your loans and holds already waiting for you. New users will be prompted to import their existing Wish List upon logging in. If you already use Libby, you don't have to do anything!

What this means for current users:
 

• Libby has long been the preferred mobile app for the OverDrive service and includes a desktop version you can access via web browser.
• The selection and borrowing policies for the OverDrive service remain unchanged.
• Using Libby, you can browse, check out, download, and stream tens of thousands of eBooks and audiobooks curated by the Library.
• Libby’s “Extras” section also offers access to movie streaming platform Kanopy, video craft tutorials from Craftsy, and music lessons from ArtistWorks.
