National News Literacy Week

The Kansas City Public Library wants to help the community get and stay informed with its participation in National News Literacy Week. The initiative, led by the News Literacy Project and E.W. Scripps, runs from January 24-28 and promotes news literacy as a vital life skill.

National News Literacy Week: Kansas City Edition will focus on three intersections of news literacy: Democracy, Disinformation, and Distrust

Join the Library and local journalists for a three-part series of virtual panel discussions from Noon - 1 p.m. on the following days:
