Plaza Branch Closed Due to COVID-19 Exposure
Friday, January 8, 2021
The Library’s Plaza Branch, 4801 Main St., will remain closed until further notice after learning a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. That staff member worked the week of January 4, 2021.
While exposure risks are minimized by the Library’s health and safety protocols, including mask and social distancing requirements, all visitors to the Plaza Branch during that time period are being contacted.
All other employees at the location also have been alerted, and a cleaning crew will sanitize the space. The Plaza Branch will reopen once the Library can conduct contact tracing, complete the cleaning, and ensure adequate staffing. The Library will continue to offer Wi-Fi for free outside the building.
