All Library locations will be closed Tuesday, December 24 & Wednesday, December 25, for the Christmas holiday.
KE Griffin (Art by .E Lewis) is a textile and performing artist who creates stories – such as tales of her ancestors’ journeys to, and in, the United States – using fabric and stitchwork. Her art quilts, abstracts, and wood panels are adorned with adinkra symbols, feathers, gems, prints, patterns, and denim.
Griffin designed the heARTs series for the Westport Branch’s 125th birthday in honor of the library’s impact on her life. These works symbolize her creative journey, each paying tribute to the friends, family, and organizations that have supported her life and career.
