The Westport Historical Society Speaker Series seeks to promote and foster public interest in and preserve the significance of local history.

Join us at the Westport Branch Library on Saturday February 14th for the first of this year's Historical Society Speaker series. Dan Sturdevant will discuss the site of Kaw Point, the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, parts of the Lewis and Clark expedition, and give brief history of Kaw Point and the American Indians.
