The Westport Historical Society Speaker Series seeks to promote and foster public interest in and preserve the significance of local history.

Join us at the Westport Branch Library for another great presentation from the Westport Historical Society. David Baumgartner will present his speech, "Old Stories of Westport" on Saturday March 28th at 2:00pm. Mr. Baumgartner will be sharing three stories: Wild Bill and the Baseball Game; Westport Windwagon; and the Robbery of the Jackson County Fair. Come to learn a little about Westport and a little about Kansas City!
