The Revolution of 1910 was a landmark chapter in Mexican history. It ushered in a disruptive and often violent period that brought about the social transformation of a largely rural society governed by an autocratic regime into a modern nation dedicated to pursuing social justice.
To discuss this past, and its continuing influence on the present and future of Mexico, Crosby Kemper III, director of the Kansas City Public Library, moderates a public conversation with Mike Haverty, executive chairman of Kansas City Southern; Julian Zugazagoitia, director of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art; Jacob Prado, Consul of Mexico; and historian Fred Whitehead.
