Viewing Vietnam: A Matter of Time and Place

Series: Big Read

The war experience in Vietnam varied greatly, depending on when and where you served. A panel of military veterans, convened by the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, reflects back on the conflict from individual perspectives - as an adviser, Huey gunship pilot, armored officer, special forces member, communications officer, and member of the U.S. embassy security detachment.

This event is a featured program of the fall 2017 Big Read KC. For more related programs at the Kansas City Public Library, visit kclibrary.org/bigread2017.
