Twin brothers Francisco and Fredy Gabuardy join the Library’s exhibitions coordinator Craig Auge for a discussion of their first-ever collaborative exhibition – a project that has been four years in the making.
Cadejo: Collaborations of Francisco Gabuardy and Fredy Gabuardy, now on display at the Central Library, showcases the unique artistic styles of the identical twin brothers based in Kansas City.
The Gabuardy brothers will explain how their connection as twins has influenced their work and share insights about collaborative strategies, including gameplay, self-imposed rules, and negotiations. They will also discuss creating art within the context of the "phenomenon" of twin languages and how the exhibition has impacted their relationship.
