The 2024 Searching the Psyche Through Cinema film series, which looks to the arts (and this year, to science fiction) to illuminate our understanding of ourselves, continues with a screening and discussion of 2011’s acclaimed Another Earth (PG-13, 92 min.). 

Low-budget but high-concept, this Sundance Film Festival award winner touches on such weighty themes as forgiveness and redemption through the struggle of one young woman searching for stability and hope in a personally tumultuous and tragic time. 

A post-screening discussion is led by Nicholas Higgins, a licensed professional counselor, and film critic Beck Ireland.
