The party never stops at the Library, particularly during the 2024 Off the Wall rooftop film series, Party Central, which continues with Crazy Rich Asians (PG-13, 121 min.).
It’s 2018 and Rachel Chu, a New York University professor played by Constance Wu, travels with her boyfriend Nick (Henry Golding) to his friend’s wedding in Singapore. Until they arrive, Rachel has no clue who Nick really is: Singapore’s most eligible bachelor and a member of one of the country’s wealthiest families.
Based on the bestselling novel by Kevin Kwan, the story includes a skeptical future mother-in-law, nasty would-be relationship saboteurs, and – perhaps – a love that’s worth fighting for. Oh, and a really big party.
