What single word of advice do today’s top entrepreneurs have for those seeking their own success? Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak touts “passion.” VMware co-founder and former Google Cloud CEO Diane Greene: “tenacity.” Floodgate co-founder Ann Miura-Ko: “thunderlizard” (explaining, “Born with radioactive atomic DNA, entrepreneurs are out to wreak havoc on the industry they’ve invaded.”)
A panel of Kansas City’s foremost entrepreneurs and business ecosystem leaders offer their stories and their "One Word" of guidance in conjunction with the opening of the new Library exhibit UpStart. A networking reception precedes the presentation, and attendees can browse the exhibit in the Central Library’s grand foyer, Kirk Hall.
The event and exhibit are made possible with support from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
