The Little Foxes

The fourth season of the Kansas City Public Library's Script-in-Hand series presented by the Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre opens the 2009-2010 season, named American Classics, with the Lillian Hellman play, The Little Foxes.

The central character of the play, Southern aristocrat Regina Hubbard Giddens, finds herself entangled with her two brothers, her daughter, and her sickly husband, in a cycle of blackmail, death, and greed. For her role in the chaos, Regina pays with the loss of her daughter's love and respect.
