Eric Rauchway, professor of history at the University of California - Davis, presents How Well Did the New Deal Work? The talk is the keynote address for the annual Richard D. McKinzie Research Symposium.

Rauchway will discuss the New Deal, as well as broader 1930s economic policy, and explain what lessons can be learned about the role of government during economic crisis. Rauchway is the author of five books, including The Great Depression and the New Deal: A Very Short Introduction.
