On Saturday, October 11, the Central Library is open to registered Heartland Book Festival attendees only. Regular services, such as hold pickups, public computers and phones, and public meeting rooms, will not be available.
Coterie Theatre artists resume their monthly interactive story times for children and their parents, reading from the riotous 2005 picture book Snowball Fight by comedian and then-future Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. It’s the story of a snow day, closed schools, and the ultimate snowball skirmish.
Young audience members can “jump into the story,” adding their own improvisation.
