On Saturday, October 11, the Central Library is open to registered Heartland Book Festival attendees only. Regular services, such as hold pickups, public computers and phones, and public meeting rooms, will not be available.
Which Kansas City school is best for your child? What are the offerings? The differences?
Representatives and parents from 55 public, private, and charter institutions – kindergarten through high school, all within the city’s public school boundaries – offer answers at the annual City School Fair. The information-gathering event is open to parents and children alike.
The gathering features entertainment by the StoneLion Puppet Theatre, music by students from the Lincoln College Preparatory Academy and Kansas City Academy, face painting, and balloon artistry.
