Celebrate the start of the 12th annual Art in the Loop Project, a curated outdoor exhibition of temporary artworks and performances.
The 2025 theme, Wonder, invited artists to explore the depth of curiosity within our community and how we relate to one another, encouraging reflection on the complexities of connection, discovery, and the shared experiences that shape us.
This evening of art and music reflects the theme with a musical performance by Monarch Duo, a traditional dance performance by Kathak Aura, and live painting by social practice artist Olivia Michka.
This year’s edition of Art in the Loop features visual artwork based on photography, painting, digitized illustrations, as well as performances that include dance, spoken word, hip hop, theatrical characters, and more. It’s presented in partnership with the KC Streetcar.
