What Jason Pollen originally envisioned as a short, one- or two-year stay in Kansas City is now into its third decade. The internationally recognized textile artist, designer, and teacher — known for his innovative techniques — has become a fixture and a local treasure. Continuing a celebration of his life and career here, the Library’s refurbished Genevieve Guldner Gallery features the second part of an exhibit of Pollen’s work, some on public display for the first time. Accompanying the pieces is a never-before-seen collection of his sketchbooks.
