Sunday Game Spotlight: An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs

Series: Black History

Do you enjoy video games, but need a little variety in your play? Then Sunday Game Spotlights have you covered! Every Sunday in the Bluford Teen Area, we'll be playing indie games and lesser-known titles to expand our gaming horizons. While we play, we'll dig deep into it to discuss its design, mechanics, aesthetics, and so much more! Learn creative skills and practice critical thinking while having fun with other players! This Black History Month, the spotlight celebrates black creativity by shining on An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs (The Dog Airport Game, for short)!

The Dog Airport Game is developed by Strange Scaffold Games, a studio led by award-nominated writer/game designer Xalavier Nelson Jr. In this open-world comedic adventure game, players talk to the stock photos of dogs that staff an alien airport to listen to their needs and help solve their problems. In the process, you might just alleviate flight delays that keep you from being reunited with your lover on the other side of the galaxy! An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs is rated E for Everyone for alcohol references and mild language.
