Shades of Burgundy is a program featuring chamber and solo performances by the members of the Burgundy Trio, comprised of current UMKC students Maddie Fetterly, Sol Veenstra, and Arianna Richardson. The first portion of their program is centered on chamber works, including the world premiere of "Something to Hold On To", a composition written for the Burgundy trio by current UMKC composition student Evan Garcia, as well as a performance of Eric Ewazen's "Wildflowers" trio. The second portion features solos by each member of the Burgundy trio on their respective instruments.
