Maddie is an Uber driver who loses her job because her car is repossessed. As a livelihood alternative, she answers an ad of a couple to help their teenage son. Maddie's new job is to be the academic-oriented teen's girlfriend of sorts, with duties including dating him until he manages to wring out his social ineptitude.
