The Lyric Arts Trio (Sarah Tannehill Anderson, soprano; Elena Lence Talley, clarinet; Dan Velicer, piano), one of Kansas City's most distinctive chamber music ensembles, will perform a concert featuring the works of renowned poets, including Emily Dickinson, William Shakespeare, and Maya Angelou. A highlight of the concert will be "Senescence," by Florida composer Alex Burtzos (poems by Chrissy Kolaya), commissioned and premiered by the Trio in 2024.
