KC Pop-Up Book Group

The Kansas City Star and the Kansas City Public Library are partnering on the KC Pop-Up Book Group. The next selection is Death of the Author by Nnedi Okorafor. Half dystopian sci-fi, half literary fiction, the book toggles between Ankara the robot and paralyzed Nigerian American writer Zelu. Each character learns that stories are key to avoiding cataclysmic disaster.

After the book group, attend Nnedi's event at the Heartland Book Festival on October 11.
