All Library locations will be closed Monday, January 20, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday.
The Central Library is housed in the repurposed 1906 First National Bank building. Join us for a tour to learn about the architectural features of the building, a little library history and some fun Kansas City Trivia. Be ready to get a few thousand steps in as we will take you from the bank vault-turned movie theater to our fifth-floor roof top terrace and stop on each floor along the way.
If you need ADA accommodation to use Library services or attend Library events and programs, please notify us at least 3 business days in advance at 816.701.3409 or ADA@kclibrary.org. (TTY access available via 711 or 866.520.7309 for Spanish.)
The Kansas City Public Library could be videotaping and taking photos for possible inclusion in marketing and promotional communications.
