Open office hours for adults working on their English skills. While these hours are intended for non-native English speakers, all adults are welcome. Some examples of assistance available:
- Proofreading and help editing essays
- Help with English-related coursework (especially college/university-level)
- Grammar exercises
- And more!
Note: Depending on the number of participants present, 1-on-1 help may not always be available. The teacher and available tutors will divide their time between students as equally as possible. If you are unsure whether these hours will meet your needs, please call 816.701.3766 and ask to speak with Ruth Boettner, ELL Project Specialist.
If you need ADA accommodation to use Library services or attend Library events and programs, please notify us at least 3 business days in advance at 816.701.3409 or ADA@kclibrary.org. (TTY access available via 711 or 866.520.7309 for Spanish.)
