From towering tree ferns to ancient cycads and spore-bearing giants, discover the living plant lineages that thrived alongside dinosaurs and shaped the Earth’s earliest ecosystems. This talk will highlight the botanical survivors of the Jurassic era, their evolutionary adaptations, and how these “living fossils” still grow and inspire us today. Perfect for plant lovers, dinosaur enthusiasts, and curious minds of all ages. Science Matters is a monthly lunch & learn cohosted with the Linda Hall Library.
