Bluford Branch Closed Due to COVID-19 Exposure

Thursday, February 4, 2021

The Library's Bluford Branch, 3050 Prospect Ave., will remain closed until further notice after learning a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. That staff member last worked Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

While exposure risks are minimized by the Library’s health and safety protocols, including mask and social distancing requirements, all visitors to the location during that time period are being contacted.

All other branch employees also have been alerted, and a cleaning crew will sanitize the space. The location will reopen once the Library can conduct contact tracing, complete the cleaning, and ensure adequate staffing.

The Library will continue to offer Wi-Fi for free outside the building.

Kids Café services are suspended at this location but remain available at Southeast, Trails West, and Waldo.  (View calendar of Kids Café sessions)
