In a preview of Kansas City’s 2022 Art in the Loop Project, meet the artists involved in the creation of a series of visual outdoor exhibitions – a streetcar wrap, artwork for streetcar shelters, and a streetcar-adjacent mural.

Organizers also announce participants in Art in the Loop’s summer performance component. The preview at the downtown Central Library features music and dance selections.

This year’s Art in the Loop theme is Sustainable.

Kyle Mullins introduces the exhibition artists, whose work will be on display around the city from June to November. Mullins is the artist services assistant at the Mid-America Arts Alliance and artistic director and founder of the contemporary dance company cerca trova.
