Town Hall Meeting

A series of town hall meetings are scheduled at various branches of The Kansas City Public Library throughout March, in an effort to elicit information from community members regarding the future direction of the Library.

The Library seeks participation from patrons and non-patrons alike. Discussion points of particular interest are general Library services, breadth of the collection and media formats, online accessibility and provisions, along with customer expectations of DVD, CD, and best-seller collections.

Additionally, a forum for teenagers is scheduled on Thursday, March 19, from 3:30-5 p.m. at the L.H. Bluford Branch, 3050 Prospect. Another meeting for parents of young children is on Saturday, March 21, from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Truman Forum, Plaza Branch.

If you need ADA accommodation to use Library services or attend Library events and programs, please notify us at least 3 business days in advance at 816.701.3409 or ADA@kclibrary.org. (TTY access available via 711 or 866.520.7309 for Spanish.)
