Author and architectural historian Cydney Millstein discusses the exhibit Century of Legendary Places: The Legacy of Kansas City’s Hare & Hare. The talk marks the opening night of the year-long installation.
The exhibit details some of Hare & Hare’s most significant contributions to the beautification of Kansas City. The 100-year-old firm has played an integral role in the landscape design of such notable locations as Liberty Memorial, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and the Country Club Plaza, among many others.
Millstein is the founder and principal of Architectural & Historical Research, LLC. She is the co-author of Houses of Missouri, 1870-1940.
