Library Giving Day was April 1! Your support ensures that all Kansas Citians have access to books, eBooks, audiobooks, and library services.
Join the Library at its recently renovated Southeast Branch for a day of community celebration. Visit our space and check out refreshed collections, new meeting rooms, upgraded technology, and enhanced services.
You’re also invited to view the new Goppert Media Center – the permanent home for the Library’s Kansas City Digital Media Lab (KCDML), which connects youth with experiential, hands-on learning in areas such as video and audio production, animation, design, robotics, and more.
Open House: 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Remarks at 11 a.m.
Open house activities include:
- Refreshments
- Short workshops and drop-in classes
- Tech Q&A sessions
- Youth and family activities
- Community resources
- and MORE!
It’s our party, but the gifts are for YOU! Stop in during the Southeast Branch open house and earn a voucher to forgive up to $100 in existing Library fines and fees as part of Money Smart Month.
