All Library locations will open late at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, due to all staff training.
Which Kansas City school is best for your child? What are the offerings? The differences? What about charter schools?
Representatives and parents from 55 public, private, and charter institutions—kindergarten through high school, all within the city’s public school boundaries—offer answers at the annual City School Fair. There are resource tables for parents of students with special needs and those looking toward college preparedness.
The information-gathering event is open to parents and children alike, and features remarks by KC Mayor Sly James (at 11 a.m.), a visit by Royals mascot Sluggerrr, entertainment by area students, face painting, balloon artistry, and refreshments courtesy of Arvest Bank.
This event is co-sponsored by: Show Me KC Schools and the Office of Mayor Sly James
