On Saturday, October 11, the Central Library is open to registered Heartland Book Festival attendees only. Regular services, such as hold pickups, public computers and phones, and public meeting rooms, will not be available.
Instead of fighting off other shoppers on "Black Friday", coming to library where we offer free entertainment. The Doug Talley Quartet will be performing a concert in Kirk Hall. Performing at music festivals, clubs, and concert venues throughout the Midwest since 1995, the Doug Talley Quartet plays a fresh mix of jazz classics and original music.
