Join us every 4th Saturday of the month at the Westport branch to appreciate and learn about the History of American Music through a musical biopic! There will be a short pre-discussion on the artist/band/group(s) featured in the film, and then most of the biopic will be shown.
January's artist of the month is Ray Charles and we will be showing the amazing movieRay (PG-13). Jamie Foxx gives an Oscar-winning performance as Charles, plus the movie won an Oscar for Sound Mixing of the original, classic, timeless Ray Charles songs.
