All Library locations will be closed Monday, September 2, for Labor Day.
The Library continues its special, intergenerational movie series for individuals with dementia, their friends, and families, screening the effervescent, sun-will-come-out film Annie. This 2014 adaptation of the Broadway hit musical features a Golden Globe-nominated performance by young Quvenzhané Wallis in the title role.
Acclaimed husband-and-wife performers Cary and Alicia Mock sing a selection of show tunes. Attendees can make a musical instrument to take home.
This event is co-sponsored by: Kansas City FilmFest, the Heart of America chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, and The Creativity Connection
