Improvisational comedy troupe TANTRUM is Talking Out of Turn with its unique style of long-form improv performance on Wednesday, March 18, at 7 p.m. in the Truman Forum at the Plaza Branch, 4801 Main St.
Taking suggestions, TANTRUM spins impromptu skits that generate a succession of spontaneous scenes aimed at giving the audience fits (of laughter). Every performance is different, because everything is improvised – and anything can happen. This is the second of three installments in a series of Talking Out of Turn performances.
Veterans of the local improvisational comedy scene, the TANTRUM cast includes Trish Berrong, Pete Calderone, Nikki Dupont, Rob Grabowski, Megan Mercer, Michael Montague Jr., and Josh Steinmetz.
The cast will be joined by Cindy Schloss, a special guest who monologues throughout the evening will serve as inspiration for TANTRUM skits. Schloss has been named one of Radio’s Most Influential Women for five years running as general manager of Broadcast Marketing Group. She currently serves on the boards for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City and The Women's Employment Network.
